Citron, Ellen Lee  (Warshaw) 
May 20, 1947 Sept. 10, 2005. Loving wife, mom and grandma, died at age 58 of pancreatic cancer. Ellie was born in Philadelphia, PA and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy at Tufts Univ. in Boston, MA. Moving to Minnesota with husband Paul in 1969, Ellie began a career in physical rehabilitation, which included working with hospitalized physically disabled adults, teaching at Anoka Technical College and managing therapy services in long term care. After graduate studies at the Univ. of MN, she became a licensed nursing home administrator. Ellie envisioned and coordinated the development of unique specialized care programs in nursing homes throughout the state, for people needing treatment for Alzheimer's Disease, chemical dependency, brain injury, behavior management, HIV/AIDS, pediatric respite care and transitional/sub-acute rehabilitation. Ellie was a volunteer tutor of basic literacy and English as a second language, a traveler, a gardener and an artist. She leaves her beloved family husband Paul, daughter Dena and Dena's husband Matt Larson, son Dan and Dan's daughter Jessica, the delight of Grandma's life.
