Nicholas J. Afentakis of Brewster formerly of Medway May 8, 2011. Beloved husband of Mary Ellen Lavenberg for 35 years. Born in Boston on Oct. 15, 1947. Nephew of Charles Beretsos of Boston and Joan Afentakis Hall of San Antonio, Texas. Uncle of Stephanie Lavenberg of Mount Joy, PA; Sarah Foote of Omaha, NE; Paul Lavenberg of Elliotsburg, PA; and John Zervas of Brussells Belgium. Graduate of Mount Hernon School Class of 1965, Tufts University School of Engineering Class of 1969. Late member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. Nicholas worked for many years at Digital Equipment Corporation in Maynard and Marlboro, MA, and in Galway, Ireland, Ayr Scotland and Kaufburen, Germany. Project manager at the Foxboro Co. Invensys specializing in Oil and Gas process industry in the Middle East and Far East. Most recently during his retirement he worked as a Fish Monger in Brewster.
