After Tufts, Dick West and I were graduate students at M.I.T. and roommates at the graduate dormitory for a year. He was a groomsman at my first wedding in 1970. I do not have many details after that, but know that after graduation he worked for General Dynamics and later Stone and Webster. He passed away from an illness sometime around the mid-1970s. Dick was a great guy, and it is sad that he died so young.
