Patricia Joffee, born on Nov. 12, 1947 in Highland Park, IL died on Sunday, March 9, 2008 in Washington, DC. Patty is the daughter of Norman Joffee and BettyBerger, the sister of Robert Joffee and the stepdaughter of Robert Richheimer, now all deceased.

She is survived by her beloved children, Kate Kramer and Andrew Kramer of Arlington, VA. Patty Joffee graduated from The Francis W. Parker School in Chicago and Tufts University.

A French major, she could win pitched arguments with car rental agents in France, thought to signify the highest level of proficiency in the language.

Patty's love of life and devotion to her friends won her an ever-expanding network of talented people who loved, depended on and supported her.

She excelled in successive careers in the Massachusetts State Government and as an executive recruiter at Isaacson, Miller in Boston. (Published in the Chicago Tribune 3/16/2008.)
