Vincent Antonelli

Poppy Psinakis Patterson (J'71) notified of the passing of Vincent "Vinny" Antonelli on March 20, 2016.

Vincent “Vinny” Thomas Antonelli of Revere passed away on March 20 with his family by his side. He was 70 years old.

Vinny was born on July 18, 1945 in Everett, son of the late Vincent and Phyllis (DiPiano) Antonelli. He was also preceded in death by his sister Jane (Antonelli) Kennedy.

Vinny was an avid tennis player, enjoyed and taught Greek dancing, and loved international music. He had a warm smile and was patient and generous with everyone.

He graduated from Revere High School in 1963 and earned his bachelor’s degree from Tufts University. He worked as a computer programmer/analyst for Boston Edison for many years and then for Aspen Systems in Portsmouth, NH until retirement.

He was the devoted and cherished father of Michael Antonelli of Revere, Alexis (Antonelli) Morris and her husband, James of Chelsea, Michigan, Natasha Antonelli and her husband, Djelloul of Revere; grandfather to André and Wendy Romero of Revere and Zoë Morris of Chelsea, Michigan; and uncle to Rebecca Kennedy of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by his ex-wife and friend Karen Robins. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
