Heather Dobbins 1948 - 2009 LEE Heather Ann Lawrence Dobbins, 61, of 175 Golden Hill Road died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, at home. Born in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Jan. 16, 1948, daughter of the late Edward L. and Hope J. Dobbins, Heather graduated from Miss Hall's School in 1965. She attended Boston University and graduated from Tufts University in 1969. Heather worked for the Hotel del Coronado, Coronado, Calif., for 25 years, becoming vice president of sales. She returned to the Berkshires in 1999 and owned the Baldwin Grange Bed and Breakfast, North Egremont, until 2006. She was passionate about her animals.  An avid golfer and skier, Heather was a member of the Bousquet Ski School in the 60's. She volunteered with the Berkshire Scenic Railroad, Berkshire Botanical Garden, Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter, and Berkshire Humane Society. She leaves two sisters, Michele Dodge and her husband, Jim, of Worthington, and Holly Dobbins of Lenox; two nephews, Caleb Callahan and Jason Wilson, and three nieces, Holly Dodge Folsom, Amber Dodge and Darcy Callahan.
