Send your questions to admin@tufts69.org.

This page will be updated daily through Wednesday, May 15.

Q.   Are spouses invited to participate in the Sunday morning 50th Reunion Class march and seating at Commencement .

A.  Yes.  Spouses are invited to the breakfast and the march.  Our seating will be to the side of the lawn, to enable us to leave when we feel like or to run to the loo and return.

Q.  Do I have to make a donation before the reunion for it to count toward the class gift?

A. Class giving awards will be announced at during the reunion weekend; however, all donations made on line or by check received by June 30, 2019, will count toward the class gift.  Send checks to the Tufts University Gift Planning Office, 80 George Street, 3rd Floor, Medford, MA 02155.

Q.  Can I control how my donation is used?

A.  There are over 5000 giving categories, from which you can choose, when you make your donation.  You can state your preference in plain English, as well selecting from the list.

Q. What do I wear to the different reunion events?

A. The weather in Medford can be very changeable.  Bring comfortable attire.  Dressier events include the Welcome Reception, Tufts Night at Pops and the Class Reunion Celebration.  Most other events are casual.  Dressier (for guys) includes suits or sport coats and slacks.

Q.  Public Transportation to the Tufts Campus (ref: Tufts.edu Site)

A.   If you are coming by subway, or “T,” take the Red Line to the Davis Square Station. Exit the Davis Square Station on the College Avenue side. You may take the #94 or #96 bus (which both leave from the Davis Square T entrance directly across from the Tedeschi convenience store, NOT the entrance next to the Somerville Theatre) or walk 15 minutes along College Avenue to the Tufts campus.

If you board the bus, you will get off at the stop titled "Boston Avenue at Tufts Garage." The bus stop is across the street from a large, seven-story parking garage. Enter the garage at the ground level and walk toward the elevators, directly across from the Tufts University Police Department headquarters. Take the elevator to the 7th floor.

If you walk, turn right out of the subway station and follow College Avenue to the Powderhouse Square traffic circle. Cross Powderhouse Circle to continue on College Avenue. As you continue on College Avenue, the Tufts Campus will be on your left. Continue on College Avenue, passing Lower Campus Road, Talbot Avenue, and Professors Row (all of which will be on your left), until you reach the Memorial Steps (also on your left). Walk up the steps and bear right. Turn right after you pass East Hall and walk across the footbridge into Dowling Hall. The reception desk is straight ahead.
